Delegation is a commonly used mechanism in blockchain, where users can delegate their vFHE, representing voting power, to a relevant Hub. The Hub will automatically match it with the corresponding Voter for proxy voting and participation in network validation.
This allows users to share in the rewards distributed by the Hub without needing to run or participate in the actual network validation process.
After redeeming your vFHE on the Dashboard, you can go to the [Delegate vFHE] page (under the [Delegate To Earn] section) to delegate your vFHE to a Hub.
Your Delegated vFHE: The total amount of vFHE you have delegated to Hubs. This value is updated approximately every 2 minutes.
Your Available vFHE For Delegation: The total amount of vFHE available for delegation from your currently connected wallet, updated approximately every 2 minutes as well.
Below these metrics, you'll see all the available Hubs to which you can delegate your vFHE. You can choose any Hub that interests you, and you may delegate to multiple hubs. The vFHE rewards are distributed based on the total amount of vFHE delegated by users to that Hub.Steps to Delegate vFHE:
Step 1: Select a Hub that interests you and click the Delegate button.
Notice: If you are not on the Mind chain, your wallet will prompt you to switch to the Mind chain.
Currently, there is no gas fee for the vFHE Delegation
Step 2: Once the delegate pop-up appears, enter the amount of vFHE you wish to delegate to the selected Hub.
Step 3: Click the Delegate button in the pop-up. Your wallet will pop up to seek your approval and signature for the transaction (No gas fee here). Once you confirmed and signed, your delegation is officially complete!
Completion: After completing the delegation, you will be able to see your delegation amount under the respective Hub, and total amount of delegation from all the Hubs under the [Your Delegated vFHE] at the top.
You can also view your vFHE earnings in the [Delegation] section of the Dashboard. (Note: Earnings are settled daily at 0:00 UTC, so your vFHE rewards will not be displayed on the first day.)
